reCYCLE energy Program

Ride a bike — help power a school!

GreenFleet Hawaii is offering Oahu cyclists a chance to “harness” the energy they produce while riding their bike. The reCYCLE energy program is designed to promote a healthier lifestyle and to reinforce the concept of renewable energy through personal responsibility and sharing. By simply riding your bikes, you can help power a local school's green energy efforts and earn rewards and prizes while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

How It Works:

• Become a GreenFleet Member

• Track the distance for every bike ride.

• Log in your ride data onto your GreenFleet Hawaii odometer app.

• Your odometer app will automatically convert, track and store the amount of energy produced.

• At the end of each quarter the total amount of energy (in kilowatts) from every GreenFleet Hawaii cyclist will be donated to a local school.

• Each quarter, prizes will be given to the top male, female and keiki energy producers. Also, everyone who uses the pedometer app is automatically entered into a quarterly prize drawing.

What you'll need :

• GreenFleet membership (Free!)

• A bike

• An odometer

• Water (stay hydrated!)

• Energy to reCYCLE!
